Physical encounter with Bromsgrove for Lichfield u11s

Bromsgrove visited Cooke Fields today and provided stiff opposition for Lichfield u11s. Both teams played very physical rugby, with well organised defences allowing very little space for attacking options.

Bromsgrove were able to force the ball across the line to score a number of times from close range, eventually breaching brave Lichfield defensive efforts.

Lichfield showed adventurous attacking intentions, with impressive line breaks, offloads and support play. Some well executed kicks from difficult positions allowed for a brief respite from the Bromsgrove onslaught.

As both teams began to feel the pace, there were more defensive gaps to exploit. The final stages of the match were full of expansive attacking play from both sides.
