U7'S - BURTON RFC V LICHFIELD

Our Lichfield u7s had their much anticipated first ever match away at Burton on 3rd Oct.

The event was uncompetitive due to RFU guidance which meant the two teams intermingled to form a number of concurrent of 5 v 5 matches.

The event was helped by a fabulous new spacious facility at Burton and glorious sunshine throughout the morning. All u7s, coaches and parents had beaming smiles on their face from start to finish. It was great to watch all the u7s catch, run with the ball, making tag tackles and score some amazing try’s.

The event was nicely brought to a close (and probably the kids favourite part) with free hot dogs at the end in the club house where the kids socialised together with their a faces covered in ketchup
