At Lichfield Rugby Club, we are proud to have a thriving girls’ section – and we’re working hard to make sure our players have the opportunities, support, and recognition they deserve both on and off the pitch.

We’re currently raising funds to support:

Tours and events – giving our players the chance to travel, compete, and grow as a team.

Kits and equipment – ensuring every player feels part of something special.

Awareness and support – promoting important causes such as women in sport and mental health, helping our players build resilience and confidence for life beyond rugby.

So far, we’ve already held a bake sale, and we’re busy planning more fun community events such as a quiz night, bingo night, car wash, and a host of other activities including raffles and blind auctions.

To help us make this a success, we’d love support from fellow rugby clubs and the wider rugby family. Here are a few ways you can get involved:

Spread the word – share our story, post a short video cheering us on, or simply tell others about the work we’re doing.

Support our events – come along, get involved, and enjoy a great night out while backing grassroots rugby.

Donate prizes – we’d be very grateful for any donations we can use in our raffles or auctions, whether that’s rugby gear, vouchers, tickets, or other items.

Every bit of support helps us give our girls the opportunities they deserve and raise the profile of women’s rugby for the future.
