Lichfield RUFC are pleased to announce a new all-inclusive rugby partnership with local charity Liberty Jamboree. The initial focus of the partnership will be to provide an 8-week rugby offering to young people over the age of 12 with SEND.

In an exciting development, England World Cup winner Will Greenwood has become an ambassador of the programme. Speaking of the potential impact of the programme, Will said:

“There is no greater sport on this planet than rugby for inclusion.
Rugby teams operate at their best when they are packed with difference.
Sport needs every shape and size and thrives with minds that think and see challenges differently.
None of us is as good as all of us."

Lichfield Director of Rugby, Dan Hemingway said: “We are really pleased to be able to set this programme up in partnership with Liberty Jamboree. As a club we are extremely proud to represent the local area, and we believe this partnership will provide opportunity for even more members of our community to become involved in rugby.”
