After a highly competitive selection process, featuring over 80 applicants, the final squad proudly features representation from eight clubs across the county.
Head Coach Fraser Goatcher shared his enthusiasm for the team:
“We are incredibly impressed with the talent on show, representing so many clubs from within the county.
The squad and coaching team we have in place now is one to get excited about.
We are really looking forward to getting stuck in and seeing how far we can go as group, especially as we take the step up into Div 1.”
The team now looks ahead with ambition and confidence as they prepare for the challenge of competing at the highest level in county rugby.
Selection for each matchday squad will be announced on the Wednesday prior to each fixture.
We encourage everyone to come out and show their support at the Women’s 1st fixture this Sunday, as they welcome Lancashire Rugby. Kick-off is at 3:00PM at Stafford Rugby Club and is supported by a curtain raiser as the Staffordshire Men’s Vets take on Combined Services Barbarians at 12:00 noon.
