U9s start contact!

Lichfield U9s put on a fantastic display of rugby in their first official contact rugby match.

Playing against a spirited opposition in Newport ( who were brilliant ambassadors for their club), both teams showed some real commitment to tackling and the increased physicality of the U9s game.

It was wonderful to see the players putting into practice the skills they learn each week on the coaching ground and every player made a positive contribution to a great mornings rugby!

Well done to all the players and a big thank you to the parents!
