Worcester Festival

Lichfield U9s made the trip to Worcester Warriors to take part in a festival of rugby across many different age groups.

It was a great experience to play against teams we haven’t played before including Bowden, Bromyard, Chester, Oswestry & Malvern.

Across two teams, ‘Lions’ and ‘Panthers’ the players showed great commitment against teams with big, physical players and made each team work really hard to have any success against them.

It was great see all the players enjoying their rugby and a number of parents commented on the progress made from earlier in the season.

Well done to all the players and thanks to coaches & parents for dedicating so much of their Saturday to the event!
