Lichfield welcomed Sutton at late notice for the second U13 Junior match of the season.

A really slow start and some rocky defending saw Lich slip to 5-15 down within the first 12 mins..however the ship steadied and the lads started to apply real pressure on the Sutton defence culminating in the home side creating 3 good scores to Sutton's 1 and leveling the match... 20-20 at half time.

The second half saw "Lich" take the lead 25 - 20... however the game then became "Nip and Tuck" until the end! Both teams scoring with Sutton taking the lead with 3 Mins to go ......making the scores 30-35!

Despite the home side applying huge pressure and a last minute effort to draw the game.. Sutton managed to cling on and take the win!

A great game but one I feel we let slip away and we will be focusing a hard on our "Tackling and Rucking" during Weds session!
