A warm welcome was received as Lichfield u13s visited friendly neighbours Burntwood for their first game of the season.

It was clear within minutes of the kick-off that all the hard work in training was going to be a major difference between the 2 sides. It was impressive to watch Lichfield work through phases before showing some flare in attack… touching down 11 times in a reduced game of 40 Mins!

Lichfield u13s “Rush” Defence was equally impressive and accompanied by some powerful hits caused panic throughout the Burntwood team.

As always, a few work-on’s for Wednesday training but the coaching staff were very proud of the team’s performance!

Well done to ALL of the lads.. It was brilliant to watch and a fantastic start to the season
