Lichfield arrived at Hinckley in a confident mood believing that we could show an improvement on last weeks narrow loss.

Unfortunately it was apparent within the first few minutes that we were going to really struggle against a far bigger and stronger Hinckley team.

Lich suffered numerous injuries with players frequently having to leave the field for treatment and this lead to a lack of structure to our game.

Confidence started to drop and our defence became frail...The "Giants" of Hinckley took advantage and ran in a number of soft tries.

It was a day where nothing went right...nothing "Stuck" and we fumbled a number of good try scoring opportunites out wide. Lich finished the game the stronger team and on another day we would have scored 3 or 4 tries. However the truth is we were out muscled and outplayed by the better team on the day.

Despite all of the above ... we "the coaches" were proud that you never gave up... I am sure we will look back at this game in years to come and smile!
