Yet Again Lichfield had to travel away to try and secure another "Cup" Victory.

Lich started the game well with some flowing rugby securing a 15-5 lead at half time.

The Second half saw Lichfield increase their advantage with another fine try.. 20-5 Lichfield.

However.....The "Eye" was then firmly taken "Off" the ball and Lichfield let a committed Walsall side back into the game!

20-5 soon became 20-10 and then..20-15! Nerves were now on show..

A proper cup finish was required...

The "Boys" from Lichfield did not want to let their travelling support down and some quick play created the space we needed to execute another great try in the corner - Score now "25-15".

Surely a 10 point advantage would be enough???... It was nerve racking ...Walsall scored again with 2 minutes remaining on the clock making it 25-10..

It was clear from the look in the boys eyes that they were not going to let this one slip away...As coaches.. we were so proud to see them battle as mates...uniting as a "Team" to secure another cup win.

Final Score 25-20 to Lichfield.

The coaches took some real positives from this game. We played some fantastic rugby in patches and our aggression in and around rucks is improving week on week. If we can get all of the players to be 100% committed at the same time.. We will be tough to beat.
