Wow ..... what a game!

Well done to all who made it there on Sunday and survived the conditions!

We are starting to see that fitness is really paying off as our lads battled throughout the game knowing that it would be 13 v 23 for the duration.

The first 15 minutes was incredibly even with both sides struggling to keep hold of the ball in slippy conditions . The second 15 minutes saw the home side adapt better and ultimately run in 4 trys to take a 20 - 5 lead as we entered the final period.

This was to prove explosive for the Tigers.. who decided to be more aggressive and direct. The forwards started winning the battles upfront, defence became a form of attack and some hard running brought Lichfield 4 successive scores and a 20 - 25 lead into the final minutes!!

Unfortunately the win was not to be ..... Leamington had the last say and if we are honest the draw was probably the fairest result on the day!

All we as coaches and parents can say is that you continue to impress and make us proud...

Well done Guys... Brilliant Comeback.
