U14’s : Coalville 26 - 35 Lichfield

Played on the Coalville 1XV pitch, Lichfield u14s dominated the first half and quickly accumulated a commanding 21-0 lead through three converted tries. Leo Candlin (centre) scored the third with a strong carry through the Coalville defence, on his Lichfield debut.

However, Coalville showed great resilience and determination, particularly their no. 8, who led their comeback by scoring two tries in response.

The second half witnessed a more closely contested game, with the Coalville no. 8 continuing to pose problems for the opposition by adding two more tries to his tally.

Lichfield responded strongly and sealed their victory with a brilliantly executed team try, finished by Joe Wilkes (flanker)
