No rugby experience is necessary, as our focus is on developing players’ skills throughout the season.</p><p>Rugby uses a ‘building block’ approach and aims to equip players with the skills they need as they build towards the XV-a-side game. Season by season players learn new aspects of the game – you can find out more about this by clicking the link below and visiting the <a href="http://www.englandrugby.com/mm/Document/General/General/01/31/97/11/AgeGradePlayerProgessionJune2016_English.pdf">RFU’s website</a>.</p><p>The focus we follow is:</p><p>1. Put the child first<br>2. Maintain rugby as a game for all shapes and sizes<br>3. Increase enjoyment for all<br>4. Increase involvement for all<br>5. Retain players in the game</p><p>We train or play matches on Sundays between 10:30 and 12 noon approximately. </p><p>The RFU rules that we play our games around can be <a href="https://www.englandrugby.com/mm/Document/General/General/01/32/72/49/RFURegulation15Appendix1_English.pdf">downloaded here</a>.</p><p>We play mixed ability teams and to give our players lots of opportunity to play rugby, we will usually play 2 different clubs on the same Sunday.</p><p>Anyone is welcome to come and try rugby with us.
