Mixed Ability rugby aims to provide Rugby for all, reaching members of the local community who may not have had the opportunity to experience rugby otherwise, in particular those with SEND. The initiative is supported by World Cup Winner, Will Greenwood:

Working in partnership with local charity, Liberty Jamboree, an initial 8-week programme ran in the summer of 2021 has seen great success. Liberty Jamboree provides targeted group work which focus on life skills, independent living, employability skills and travel training for young adults to learn, grow and develop - widening their world; we aim to empower each individual to increase their self-esteem and offer a chance to discover and develop, enabling them to be more visible within their communities. Coached by senior players Dave Lote and Kieran Reynolds, the programme will continue as an established part of Lichfield Rugby Club in the 2021 season! Sessions take place on the final Sunday of every month at 10.30am, and on Thursdays at 4pm every other week.

In addition to this, any additional off field care will be provided by qualified members of staff from Liberty Jamboree.
